Number of TCP connections for mobile page downloads

I can see a _connections field defined in the pagesmobile table schema

but if I try to query it the values are all zero.

SELECT   COUNT (_connections)

FROM [httparchive:runs.2014_10_15_pages_mobile] where _connections != 0

Any ideas?

@stevesoudersorg is it a desktop only metric?

The number of connections ("_connections") is not available from WebPagetest for iPhone.
