I do realize that HTTP archive uses a private instance of webpagetest - the question is what are the device and browser type does the instance use ?

So as per the changes - does this mean the mobile data is inaccurate ? also since 76% of US gets LTE coverage shouldn’t we increase the connection speed from 3G to LTE speeds (which is about an avg of 7.6 Mbps these days)

I think we could argue endlessly on the ‘correct’ model. One thing to consider-whenever changes are made, YoY or other comparisons fail- so in some ways- keeping the 3G model is better.
